Reworking the FST section for better display on newer browsers and tablets. The latest FLY.EXE has been uploaded to the Tools page. The new "Sims" page has a few self-installables for someone who does not know a thing about FST to try out. Some general tweaking of pages, etc. There was a recent slight "pop" in activity in the old FST Forum (see Talk page) at Yahoo Groups... all quiet now.

I am back at work in this section after a departure over to the FS4 Webport for a bit. Also trying to recover from recent hernia surgery - ain't easy! The FST Sims page now has a few sims for download. I think you will impressed with the offering of FST veteran builder "Grampa Mike".

More work at the FSTdp today. Intro page has some new nifty graphics. Some re-editing of the text. Pics page now has an informative scan of the back of the FST box. I have Ep2 packed up and ready for addition to the Sims page.

I have decided to rework the FST Data Port, and "blow it out", so to speak, making it a full section - perhaps even to branch off to its own website in the near future. My idea is for this is to be the web nexus for everything Flight Sim Toolkit related - past, present, and future (or at least a good chunk of it) - as most, if not all past website resources have completely dried up). So, I've been redoing the main menu and adding and defining several additional pages. I think you will be surprised at the weTITLEh of resources that will be ultimately available here - Ah, providing I continue to work at it. Well, enough jawing - back to work!

Okay, going live today with this new section! (Its been too long since I did anything meaningful on my site.) Is it about inspiration? I think so... that and time! So, one of the big reasons I got this library up, is I believe some of these FSD shape files may be useful with another great program out there called: Vehicle Simulator, by Ilan Papini. The thing is fantastic - has many elements of FST in it, only of course far more complex, pretty, and modern. Still, anyone using Vehicle Simulator will be drawn to FST... enjoy guys.

Right. I've had this idea for the FST Web Port for several years now, as you can see by the old entries below. Finally - I am back at it. I've reworked the section, removed any proposed restrictions to access (you can send me an email of thanks later - ha ha). I've redone the Browse library, as well as the download zips - so you can snag it all if you want (and I know you do...)! I think this effort is worth doing; FST remains such a usable piece of software - that does not require, half a year of learning to get a sim up and operational; not to mention its files usages for other purposes. Feel free to use the Browse page (directories) to plow over the files, use the Download page to snag them all in PKZIP form. YES - you say! (Don't ya just love somethin' for nothin'? I know).

Okay, I have had this section on the drawing board for over a year now. Time constraints and interests other than FST have lead me elsewhere. However, because of recent FST happenings (or lack thereof) on the net I decided to get something up for "selected" users to access... I hope.

With Dave Daniels continuing to develop the new FST engine, I have become enough inspired in FST again to plan out this build out this section... also developing a new version of my FST sim - Elite Plus: Planetside.
